Phonics Results
For the last ten years there has been a statutory phonics test for children in Year 1. This consists of each child having to read 20 real words and 20 nonsense words to assess their ability to decode. There is a pass rate of 32/40 required to meet the standard.

Y4 Multiplication Tables Check
This academic year saw the introduction of a statutory multiplication tables check for children in Year 4. This consists of each child answering a mixture of 25 multiplication questions up to and including 12x12.
The average score for our cohort of 20 Y4 children was 23.2/25. 53% of children scored the maximum mark- 25/25.
